Parking Lot Ambassador One Parking - 3.5 West Palm Beach, FL Job Details Part-time | Full-time Up to $18 an hour 14 hours ago Benefits Free parking Paid training Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Vision insurance Opportunities for advancement Flexible schedule Qualifications Customer communication Outdoor work experience Greeting customers Venue guest services Full Job Description Position Summary The Lot Ambassador is responsible for monitoring assigned parking areas to ensure vehicles are parked properly, employees are following operational procedures, and the parking area remains safe, clean, organized, and professional. This position serves as an extra set of eyes for management while also providing friendly and professional assistance to guests, employees, and visitors. The Lot Ambassador should remain alert, visible, approachable, and attentive throughout the shift. Key Responsibilities Monitor the assigned parking lot or garage throughout the shift. Observe parking activity and ensure vehicles are parked only in authorized areas and designated spaces. Monitor valet and parking operations to ensure employees are following established procedures and expectations. Identify improperly parked, unauthorized, or suspicious vehicles and report concerns to management. Help maintain a safe and orderly flow of vehicles and pedestrians. Assist guests with parking directions and general questions in a friendly and professional manner. Monitor entrances, exits, loading areas, reserved spaces, and other designated parking areas as assigned. Immediately report safety hazards, accidents, property damage, suspicious activity, or unusual situations. Communicate operational concerns to the supervisor or manager on duty. Observe employee performance and report concerns such as excessive sitting, phone use, leaving assigned areas, unsafe driving, or failure to follow procedures. Help ensure parking areas, signs, equipment, and surrounding areas remain clean and presentable. Remain at the assigned post unless relieved or directed otherwise by management. Complete required reports, logs, or documentation accurately when requested. Support the parking and valet teams during high-volume periods when directed by management. Guest Service Expectations The Lot Ambassador represents One Parking and is expected to provide excellent hospitality at all times. Greet and acknowledge guests professionally. Be approachable and ready to assist. Communicate clearly and respectfully. Remain calm and professional when handling concerns. Never argue with guests, employees, or drivers. Contact management when a situation requires additional assistance. Safety Expectations Safety is a primary responsibility of the Lot Ambassador. The Lot Ambassador must remain alert to moving vehicles and pedestrians, report unsafe driving or conditions immediately, follow all property safety procedures, and never place themselves in an unsafe situation when addressing a concern. Qualifications Strong observation and communication skills. Dependable, punctual, and professional. Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout the shift. Comfortable working independently with limited supervision. Ability to communicate concerns clearly to management. Strong customer-service and hospitality skills. Ability to stand, walk, or remain outdoors for extended periods depending on the assignment. Ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by operational needs.
Pay:
Up to $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
