Role:
The Porter/Ambassador/Remote Service Driver/Valet at Jack Schmitt Ford, Inc. plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our customers. This position involves providing exceptional service by assisting customers with their vehicles, managing parking logistics, and facilitating remote service requests. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the parking area while ensuring that vehicles are handled with care and respect. Additionally, this role requires effective communication with both customers and team members to ensure that all service needs are met promptly. Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a customer service role, particularly in the automotive industry. Familiarity with vehicle operation and basic maintenance. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers upon arrival and assist them with their vehicles in a courteous and professional manner. Manage the parking area efficiently, ensuring that vehicles are parked safely and in an organized manner. Facilitate remote service requests by coordinating with service staff and ensuring timely vehicle pick-up and drop-off. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parking lot and service areas, including regular inspections and upkeep. Communicate effectively with customers and team members to address any inquiries or concerns regarding vehicle services.
