Driving Range Attendant This position is responsible for the operation and appearance of the driving range. Areas of responsibility include keeping driving range balls picked, cleaned and well stocked. General Duties Pick up range balls as needed. Keep ball machine filled. Hand pick as needed. Collect ball baskets and maintain an inventory of baskets for customer use. Maintain equipment and apprise supervisor when repairs are needed. Keep range and related areas neat and cleared of debris. Empty brash containers as needed. Ensure that safety standards and regulations are followed. Be courteous and respectful to all golfers, guest and visitors and assist them as needed. Ensure that practice putting areas are free of range balls at the end of the day. Assist in tournament and event operations and set-up as scheduled. Must wear safety equipment as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of the game. Ability to operate golf cart and range equipment. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees and the general public. Ability to lift 50-75 pounds.
