Job Opportunity:

Lot Operations Specialist (TopGear Auto Auction) Are you an active, detail-oriented person who loves being around cars? We are looking for a reliable Lot Operations Specialist to join our fast-paced auction team. You'll be the backbone of our inventory management, ensuring every vehicle is exactly where it needs to be for a successful sale.

Key Responsibilities Vehicle Movement:

Safely drive and maneuver a wide variety of vehicles (sedans, trucks, luxury cars) throughout the auction lot.

Staging:

Organize and park vehicles in designated rows based on auction run numbers.

Inventory Prep:

Check vehicles for basic needs—jump-starting dead batteries, adding fluids, or checking tire pressure to ensure they are "show ready."

Customer Assistance:

Act as a friendly face on the lot, helping buyers locate specific vehicles and answering basic questions about lot navigation. Efficiently remove and install license plates on a high volume of vehicles daily. Efficiently remove and install license plates on a high volume of vehicles daily.

Lot Maintenance:

Assist in keeping the lot clean, organized, and secure.

Vehicle Photography:

Capture high-quality interior and exterior photos of all incoming inventory for our online auction platform.

Test Driving:

Perform short test drives to assess vehicle drivability and report any obvious mechanical concerns to the management team.

What We're Looking For Valid Driver's License:

A clean driving record for the previous year is a must (no major incidents).

Manual Proficiency:

Ability to drive a manual transmission (stick shift) is a major plus.

Physical Stamina:

You'll be on your feet, getting in and out of cars, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Safety First Mentality:

Precision and caution are more important than speed when moving high-value inventory.
