The Town of Mooresville is looking for a dependable Part-Time Golf Cart/Range Worker to help keep the golf course's range and cart operations running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys an active work environment, interacting with the public, and being part of a team that helps golfers have a great experience on the course. About the Role The Part-Time Golf Cart & Range Worker supports the daily operations of the golf cart and driving range areas at Mooresville Golf Course. This position operates range ball machinery and golf carts, maintains equipment and work areas, and assists with restocking the golf shop. The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable working outdoors and performing physical tasks, and able to interact with golfers and the general public with tact and courtesy. Work requires the ability to follow oral and written instructions and perform tasks involving lifting, bending, and stooping.
Please Note:
Hours vary and include weekends, evenings, and holidays. Employees will work approximately 15-20 hours per week, not to exceed 1,000 hours per calendar year. This is a part-time, non-benefited position.
  • Operate range ball machinery
  • Operate and assist with golf cart operations
  • Clean and maintain golf carts, equipment, and work areas
  • Restock the golf shop as needed
  • Assist golfers and members of the general public in a courteous and professional manner
  • Follow oral and written instructions and established safety procedures
  • Perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and stooping
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Possession of a valid North Carolina Driver's License
  • Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting, bending, and stooping
  • Dependable and able to work effectively with the public and other employees
