This role is essential to ensuring our inventory is clean, mechanically ready, smog-compliant, and presentation-ready for customers. Responsibilities include coordinating vehicle preparation, assisting with reconditioning processes, ordering needed parts, transporting vehicles for inspections or smog services, and ensuring vehicles are sale-ready in a timely manner. This position offers strong growth potential and is designed to develop into an Inventory Manager role for the right candidate. We are looking for someone eager to learn dealership operations, inventory processes, and vehicle management from the ground up. Duties & Responsibilities Coordinate and transport vehicles for smog inspections, service appointments, and reconditioning work Order and track parts needed for vehicle repairs and reconditioning Monitor vehicle progress and help ensure all inventory is completed and sale-ready in a timely manner Move and organize vehicles throughout the dealership lot safely and efficiently Inspect incoming inventory for cleanliness, damage, or needed repairs and communicate findings to management Maintain accurate awareness of vehicle inventory status and readiness Maintain a clean, organized, and professional-looking dealership lot at all times Assist with vehicle deliveries, dealer trades, and pickups as needed Support the sales and service teams with general dealership operations and inventory readiness Ensure vehicles are properly parked, tagged, and ready for customer viewing Follow dealership safety procedures and maintain awareness of lot conditions and vehicle status Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred Previous automotive, dealership, or lot porter experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Reliable, punctual, and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Good communication and teamwork skills Bilingual abilities are a plus Interest in growing into dealership inventory management is highly encouraged Growth Opportunity At Chosen Auto Sales, we believe in promoting from within.
