Responsibilities Safely operate standard passenger cars and assist with vehicle movement around the lot using manual transmission when necessary Perform exterior washing, vehicle paint correction, buffing, and detailing to enhance vehicle appearance Use automotive buffers and cleaning equipment to maintain vehicle exterior cleanliness and shine Conduct interior detailing including vacuuming, cleaning windows, dashboards, seats, and other surfaces to ensure a spotless interior Follow safe work practices during all tasks, including heavy lifting and handling cleaning supplies or equipment Maintain the overall appearance of the lot by organizing vehicles and ensuring they are clean and presentable at all times Assist with janitorial duties within the auto detailing facility to uphold a clean and safe work environment Skills Experience operating standard passenger cars with manual transmissions safely and confidently Knowledge of auto detailing techniques such as buffing, paint correction, cleaning, and vehicle exterior washing Familiarity with automotive buffers, cleaning equipment, and auto detailing facility procedures Strong understanding of safe work practices, heavy lifting techniques, and proper use of janitorial or custodial tools Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with clients or team members Ability to perform detailed interior cleaning and exterior buffing efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality Prior experience in car wash operations or auto detailing is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to build a career in automotive care or enhance their skills in vehicle maintenance.
