Automotive Service Porter & Shuttle Driver Department:
Service Employment Type:
Full-Time Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday 8-4
Reports To:
Service Manager Position Overview We are looking for a dependable, energetic, and customer-focused Service Porter & Shuttle Driver to support the daily operations of our Service Department. This position plays an important role in keeping vehicles, customers, and the service drive moving efficiently throughout the day. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, safety-conscious, and willing to jump in wherever needed. Key ResponsibilitiesService Porter Greet customers arriving in the service drive and assist with vehicle drop-off. Move and park customer vehicles safely throughout the dealership property. Maintain an organized service parking lot and service drive. Retrieve vehicles for customers when service is completed. Assist Service Advisors and technicians with locating and moving vehicles. Install protective seat covers, floor mats, steering wheel covers, and other vehicle protection when required. Help maintain a clean, professional, and clutter-free service drive. Keep customer waiting areas and exterior service areas presentable as needed. Assist with dealership vehicle transportation between departments or locations. Perform other duties necessary to keep the Service Department operating efficiently. Shuttle Driver Provide safe and courteous transportation for service customers to and from the dealership. Create a welcoming experience and provide professional customer service during every shuttle ride. Coordinate customer pickups and drop-offs with Service Advisors. Communicate delays, scheduling issues, or customer concerns to the Service Department. Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the dealership shuttle vehicle. Follow all traffic laws and dealership safety procedures. Assist customers entering and exiting the shuttle when necessary. Qualifications Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to safely operate both customer and dealership vehicles. Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent work schedule. Strong customer service and communication skills. Professional and positive attitude. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust priorities throughout the day. Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to walk, stand, bend, and remain active for extended periods. Previous dealership, valet, porter, or customer service experience is helpful but not required . What We're Looking For We want someone who understands that every customer interaction matters . The Service Porter & Shuttle Driver is often one of the first and last people a service customer interacts with, so professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail are extremely important. The right person will take ownership of keeping the service drive organized, helping customers quickly, and supporting the entire Service Department wherever needed.
Pay:
$15.00 - $19.00 per hour
