Service Manager PURPOSE :
The Service Porter is responsible for moving customer vehicles within the dealership, parking cars, and sometimes providing shuttle services. This position supports the service department by ensuring that vehicles are transported safely and efficiently, providing customers with a high level of service while they await repairs or maintenance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Move customer vehicles to and from the service area, parking lot, or designated areas in a safe and timely manner. Provide shuttle services to customers, transporting them to and from the dealership as needed. Maintain the cleanliness of vehicles, including washing and vacuuming vehicles as required. Assist the service department by organizing and maintaining the parking lot, ensuring that vehicles are parked in an orderly manner. Ensure all vehicles are secured properly after parking and that keys are returned to the appropriate locations. Monitor vehicle flow in the service drive and lot to maintain an efficient work environment. Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with vehicle drop-off and pick-up procedures. Maintain the cleanliness of the service drive and customer waiting areas. Assist with other dealership tasks as needed, including helping technicians or service advisors when necessary. Support the dealership's overall cleanliness by ensuring that the service department and surrounding areas are kept clean and organized. All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required. No prior experience is necessary, but customer service or previous valet experience is preferred.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and time management. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work efficiently and follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.
Licenses:
A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required. Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance preferred. Good judgment. Ability to handle machinery safely.

Must be 21 years of age or older. Valid Texas driver's license and a good driving record. Must be able to pass a drug test screening• Must be able to pass a background check screening. Manual dexterity and good driving record.
