We are a growing car rental company serving the Phoenix metropolitan area and are looking for reliable, responsible, and flexible individuals to assist with the day-to-day movement and preparation of our rental vehicle fleet. This is not a traditional delivery driver position. The primary responsibility is helping us efficiently move vehicles between our fleet locations, customers, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, automotive repair shops, detailing/car wash locations, and other destinations throughout the Valley. A typical shift may involve meeting another team member at our vehicle staging location, traveling together to retrieve vehicles, driving separate rental vehicles back to our fleet location, delivering vehicles for upcoming customer reservations, or picking vehicles up after reservations have ended. Because rental schedules change based on customer bookings, extensions, and vehicle maintenance, flexibility is extremely important for this position. Responsibilities Pick up and deliver rental vehicles throughout the Phoenix metro area Transport vehicles to and from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport Retrieve vehicles after customer reservations Deliver vehicles before upcoming reservations Transport vehicles to repair shops, dealerships, car washes, and detailing locations Work alongside another driver to efficiently move multiple vehicles Occasionally work independently and use rideshare transportation between vehicle locations Refuel vehicles when necessary Inspect vehicles before and after transportation Photograph vehicle mileage, fuel level/battery charge, and condition Document parking garage locations, rows, levels, and parking spaces Secure vehicle keys and lockboxes according to company procedures Report warning lights, damage, tire concerns, cleanliness issues, or other problems immediately Keep and submit receipts for approved business expenses Follow detailed instructions and communicate throughout each assignment What We're Looking For The ideal person is dependable, punctual, communicative, and comfortable driving throughout the Phoenix Valley. You should be comfortable driving different types of vehicles, including sedans, SUVs, luxury vehicles, and electric vehicles. Because our workload is based on rental reservations, some days may only require a few hours of work while busier days may involve several vehicle movements throughout the day. Morning, evening, weekend, and occasional late-night availability is especially valuable. Requirements Must be at least 18 years old Valid driver's license Safe driving history Reliable personal transportation Smartphone with reliable service Comfortable using navigation apps Ability to drive throughout Phoenix, Surprise, Glendale, Goodyear, Avondale, Buckeye, Mesa, and surrounding areas Comfortable driving to and navigating Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport Ability to follow detailed written instructions Strong communication and time-management skills Dependable and punctual Must treat customer and company vehicles responsibly Ability to work independently when necessary Compensation & Expenses Starting pay: $18.00/hour Approved work-related expenses such as Uber/rideshare transportation, parking fees, fuel, and other authorized expenses are reimbursed by the company. Employees are expected to keep receipts and accurately report work-related expenses. Schedule This position is ideal for someone who wants flexible part-time work and has availability that can change from day to day. Assignments are based on our rental schedule. Some shifts may be scheduled several days in advance, while additional assignments may become available when customers book, extend, or return vehicles. We are particularly interested in candidates with open availability and the ability to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
