Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Mortuary Transporter to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the respectful and safe transport of deceased individuals to various locations, including funeral homes and hospitals. This role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service skills. We are hiring full time and part time removal specialists. 12 hour Shifts. Weekends will be included. Must be comfortable handing deceased individual. Duties Safely transport deceased individuals in a timely manner while ensuring dignity and respect at all times. Operate transport vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of transportation vehicles through regular inspections and maintenance. Communicate effectively with funeral home staff, medical personnel, and family members to coordinate pickups and deliveries. Experience Strong communication skills to interact professionally with families, nursing staff, funeral home employees and officers. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during transport operations. A background in customer service will enhance the candidate's ability to provide compassionate care during sensitive situations. This role is essential in providing support during difficult times, making it important for candidates to exhibit empathy and professionalism in all interactions.
