Job Description
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Van Driver to join our team. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting people to and from designated locations. The ideal candidate has a strong commitment to customer service and a valid driver's license. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our guest.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a van safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers.
- Manage the van's temperature, lights, and other features to maintain a comfortable and safe environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and communicating with passengers in a friendly and respectful manner.
- Handle any emergencies or issues that may arise during a trip, such as medical emergencies.
- Educate passengers on safety rules and emergency procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized bus, ensuring that it is free of trash and debris.
- Document any incidents, accidents, or issues that occur during a trip.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure that the bus is in good working condition.
- Drive the bus to and from designated locations, following the most efficient and safe routes.
Qualifications:
- A clean driving record and the ability to maintain a safe driving record.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Multilingual skills a plus, but not required.
Skills:
- Proficiency in driving a van, including navigating through heavy traffic and tight spaces.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to read and write effectively.
- Knowledge of bus safety procedures and emergency protocols.
- Ability to educate passengers on safety rules and emergency procedures.
- Commercial driving skills, including the ability to operate a large vehicle safely and efficiently.
