Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and responsible Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. this position consists of drop and hook lanes home daily also have other lanes avalible Duties Safely operate commercial vehicles such as school buses, transit buses, and wheelchair-accessible vans in accordance with traffic laws and company policies Transport passengers including students, seniors, and individuals with disabilities, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, providing wheelchair assistance and support as needed Follow emergency response procedures for transportation incidents, including CPR and first aid when necessary Maintain a clean, organized vehicle interior and perform routine vehicle inspections before and after routes Communicate effectively with dispatchers, passengers, and team members using clear English or multilingual skills to ensure smooth operations Respond quickly to traffic changes or route adjustments while maintaining safety standards and adhering to all traffic laws and vehicle codes Skills Proven experience in bus driving, school bus operation, or transit vehicle operation with a valid CDL license Knowledge of transportation safety regulations, traffic laws, child/elderly care policies, and school or transit policies Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse communities Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting passengers or handling equipment safely Familiarity with emergency stop procedures, vehicle codes, child discipline strategies, behavior management techniques, and passenger safety protocols Excellent defensive driving skills combined with quick response capabilities to traffic changes or unexpected situations Experience working with children or seniors is highly desirable; compassionate attitude toward all passengers is essential Join us in delivering safe, reliable transportation services that make a difference every day!
