Duties Safely operate a variety of vehicles including vans, passenger vans, shuttle buses, limousines, and personal delivery vehicles on designated local routes. Ensure adherence to all traffic regulations and state transportation laws during every trip. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to guarantee safety and reliability. Assist passengers or clients with boarding, exiting, and luggage handling with professionalism and courtesy. Communicate effectively with clients to confirm schedules, provide route updates, and address any concerns promptly. Manage GPS navigation systems to follow optimized routes and ensure timely deliveries or pickups. Handle heavy lifting when loading or unloading cargo or luggage while maintaining proper manual handling techniques. Qualifications Proven delivery driver experience or background operating various passenger or cargo vehicles such as vans, shuttle buses, or limousines. Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., CDL for larger vehicles if required). Strong knowledge of local driving routes, GPS navigation tools, and traffic regulations. Experience in passenger van operation, chauffeur driving, or medical transportation is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently during loading/unloading processes. Familiarity with vehicle maintenance routines and basic troubleshooting skills.
