Serenity Manor Adult Day Services is a medical adult day care located in Edgewood, MD. We are looking for a driver to provide transportation services for Center participants from their homes to the Center, appointments during the day, and field trips as part of the activities program. Shuttle pick-up / route starts in the Gwynn Oak area of Baltimore city. Schedule Full-Time Monday through Friday (Weekends as needed) Duties and Responsibilities 1. Transport Center participants in a safe, timely and courteous manner to and from the center, appointments, and offsite activities. 2. Complete daily client transportation reports and timely submit them to the Center Director. 3. Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicles and ensure that all

safety guidelines are met while operating the vehicle with participants onboard. 4. Track, schedule and transport the vehicles for scheduled maintenance as required. 4. Represent the Center in a positive and professional manner while in the community. 5. Interact and communicate with the public and other employees in a courteous and professional manner in person and on the telephone. 6. Protect own health and health of others by adopting safe work practices, reporting unsafe conditions immediately, and attending all relevant in-services regarding occupational health and safety. 7. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications 1. Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age. 2. High school diploma or equivalent required. 3. Must have legal authorization to work in the United States of America. 4. Current valid in-state Driver's License 5. Motor Vehicle Record with no more than 2 current chargeable violations within the last 36 months and no convictions for

DUI/DWI 6.

CPR and First Aid certifications or the ability to obtain the same within 30 days from the date of hire. 7. Physical ability necessary to transport the physically impaired, including persons in wheelchairs. 8. Knowledge of how to use and maintain (wheelchair lift, wheelchair tie-downs). 9. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. 10. Exercise excellent judgment regarding vehicle operations and client safety. 11. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
