is seeking dedicated and experienced Van Drivers to transport students to and from locations in and around the district. This role focuses on student safety, defensive driving, timeliness, and the overall efficient transportation of students with special needs or transportation considerations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely transport students to/from home and school in a district van Keep to a schedule of daily pick up and drop off times Manage student needs throughout the course of their transport Perform a vehicle inspection to ensure safe and proper performance Schedule and assure that general maintenance is performed on the vehicle in a timely manner Maintain the vehicle in a clean and safe condition Perform other duties as required by the Director
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
An up-to-date CHRC on file A valid class C drivers' license Pass a 10-year license background check free of convictions Be able to manage the physical demands required by drivers Familiarity with defensive driving strategies Disposition and willingness to drive students of varying ages EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Experience in general transportation operations

SALARY :
Based off the 2026-27 CBA wage Scale. $21.75/hr. (step 1) - $23.75/hr. (step 4) based on experience.
