Join our team as a Shuttle Bus Driver supporting residents and students traveling between our apartment communities and UMD/CSS. We are looking for a bright, talented, and self-motivated driver. Drivers will fill time between runs working on various maintenance tasks in our shop. The tasks would include, but are not limited to, the following: Preventative maintenance of vehicles and grounds care equipment Maintain a clean professional appearance while driving shuttle routes Transport passengers to and from destinations in a timely and efficient manner Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the shuttle bus: Washing the outside and interior cleaning Vehicle service and diagnostics
Minimum Qualifications:
Class A or B Driver's license: With passenger endorsement No Air brake restrictions At least 6 months of behind-the-wheel experience operating full-size buses or trucks Strong verbal and written communication skills Friendly, professional, and have excellent customer service skills
Preferred:
Experience with vehicle service, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance (preferred)
Schedule:
Part-time hours M-F 12:30pm-5:30pm, with possible full-time hours. Pay from $20-25+/hour depending on driving and repair experience. Shuttle route runs late August-mid May with summer hours available.
