Palmer Bus Service is looking for a reliable Van Driver to safely transport students to and from school in the Shakopee area. This position is about more than driving. You'll be responsible for the safety and well-being of students, including students with disabilities. We are looking for someone who takes that responsibility seriously and can be counted on every day. What You'll Do Safely transport students to and from school and other scheduled destinations Provide a safe, calm, and supportive environment for students Work with children who may have physical, developmental, behavioral, or other disabilities Follow all student transportation and safety procedures Complete a mandatory vehicle check before leaving the vehicle at every stop — including checking the entire vehicle to ensure no child is left behind Assist students as needed when entering and exiting the vehicle Communicate professionally with students, families, school staff, and Palmer Bus Service Maintain a clean and safe vehicle Follow all company, school district, and state safety requirements We're Looking for

Students rely on their driver to show up on time and ready to work. This is not a position where you can simply "call in" when the schedule gets inconvenient. Schedule Monday-Friday Approximately 6:45-9:00 AM and 2:30-4:15 PM Guaranteed 2 hours of pay for the morning and 2 hours for the afternoon. Midday routes may also be available, typically between 11:00 AM-1:00 PM . Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older Valid Minnesota Driver's License Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening Must meet all applicable student transportation requirements Previous experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is helpful, but not required Why Drive With Palmer?
