Responsibilities Safely operate shuttle buses, passenger vans, or personal vehicles along local routes, ensuring timely arrivals and departures. Follow GPS navigation systems accurately to adhere to scheduled routes and optimize travel times. Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform routine inspections, and report any maintenance issues promptly. Communicate clearly with passengers, providing friendly assistance and answering questions professionally. Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, state transportation regulations, and company policies during every shift. Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, including those requiring special accommodations or heavy lifting. Ensure passenger safety by enforcing seat belt use and managing passenger behavior appropriately. Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, chauffeur, or shuttle driver with a strong understanding of passenger vehicle operation. Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and local driving routes to ensure efficient travel. Experience with limousine or passenger van operation is highly desirable. Knowledge of manual handling techniques for safe lifting and transporting of equipment or luggage. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of passengers. Ability to maintain vehicles properly and perform basic maintenance checks regularly. Understanding of traffic regulations, safety standards, and state transportation laws relevant to shuttle driving.
