Assist in providing transportation services for facility residents to/from appointments and/or facility planned recreational activities in a safe and courteous manner. The person holding this position is delegated responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.
Education:
High School diploma or GED preferred
Licensure/Certification:
Possession of a valid and unencumbered NC Driving License for a minimum of two (2) years. Current CPR certification
Driving Record:
No DUI/DWI within the past 10 years. No more than one DUI/DWI during personal driving history. No more than three (3) violations within the past three (3) years. Violations are considered, but not limited to: Failure to stop or to report an accident
Speeding Reckless/Careless Driving Age Requirement:
A minimum of 21 years of age.
Experience:
Experience in operation of wheelchair accessible vehicles preferred, but not required. Experience in working with elderly or mentally/physically challenged clients preferred; but not required.
