DRIVER RESPONSIBILITIES

Safely transport special needs students to and from school. Provide patient, respectful, and professional service. Follow all student transportation and safety procedures. Arrive on time for all scheduled routes. Perform required pre-trip and post-trip safety checks. Maintain a safe, clean, and professional vehicle. Communicate professionally with parents, schools, and AmeriTransit staff.

DRIVER REQUIREMENTS

Valid driver's license and good driving record. Must pass required criminal background checks. Must meet applicable Wake County driver requirements. Must complete required drug and alcohol testing. CPR training/certification required. Must complete required driver training. Must be dependable, punctual, patient, and professional. Special needs student transportation experience is preferred.
