Part-Time Join Our Team! Next Generation Academy is seeking a reliable, energetic, and caring individual to serve as a Van Driver and Academic Support Specialist for our After-School Program. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, values education, and is committed to helping students succeed in a safe and supportive environment. Responsibilities Transportation Duties Safely transport students from local schools to Next Generation Academy. Conduct vehicle safety checks and maintain a clean van. Ensure student safety during loading, transportation, and unloading. Academic Support Duties Assist students with homework and academic enrichment activities. Provide encouragement and guidance to students ages 5-14. Help maintain a structured, positive, and engaging learning environment. Support program staff with daily activities and student supervision. Qualifications Valid North Carolina driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to pass a background check. Experience working with children preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Dependable, professional, and team-oriented. CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
