NEMT Driver - Immediate Openings CareOne Transport Systems is seeking experienced, dependable, and customer-focused Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Drivers to join our team. Drivers will operate company-provided vehicles to safely transport passengers throughout the Omaha Metro Area and surrounding communities . Many of our passengers are traveling to and from medical appointments, and some utilize wheelchairs or other mobility devices requiring proper securement. Position Responsibilities Safely transport passengers using company-provided vehicles. Follow all federal, state, and local traffic laws and regulations at all times. Operate company vehicles safely, responsibly, and defensively. Assist passengers with safe entry and exit from the vehicle as needed. Properly secure wheelchairs and other mobility devices according to safety procedures. Provide courteous, professional, and timely transportation services. Follow assigned routes and schedules while using GPS navigation effectively. Maintain professional communication with passengers, dispatch, and management. Follow all company safety, transportation, and vehicle procedures. Requirements Must be at least 25 years old . Must possess a valid driver's license held for at least 3 years . Must have a clean driving record , with no moving violations within the past 3 years. Must successfully pass a drug screening . Must successfully pass required criminal background and abuse/neglect registry checks . Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively use GPS navigation and mobile applications . Excellent customer service skills. Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment. Dependable, punctual, and committed to passenger safety. Schedule Monday-Friday Some Saturdays and holidays may be required based on transportation needs.
