Job Summary:

Transport members, upon request, to appointments within the tribal service area in a safe and respectable manner.

Duties:

Communicate Transportation procedure to tribal community members. Make weekly schedule ahead of time. Keep current on each weekly schedule. Let clients know if a Transporter is available for transport. Confirm each transportation request, either by phone call or home visits. Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

Safely transport members to and from appointments. Ensure members have proper documentation before transporting.

Requirements:

Must be over 21 years of age. Must be insurable through tribal insurance. Must possess a valid driver's license. Must complete first aid training and CPR training and become certified. Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions of supervisor. Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times. Must be dependable. Must pass a pre-employment alcohol/drug screening
