Brand New 2027 Toyota Sienna Yellow Cab We are seeking a dedicated and skilled NYC Yellow Taxi Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing safe, efficient, and courteous service to passengers across the city. This role offers an opportunity to operate a well-maintained taxi vehicle, navigate local routes using GPS technology, and deliver exceptional customer service in a dynamic urban environment. The position is fully paid and requires a professional attitude, adherence to traffic regulations, and a focus on vehicle upkeep. Responsibilities Operate a taxi vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering strictly to all traffic laws and regulations. Utilize GPS navigation systems to identify optimal routes and ensure timely passenger pickups and drop-offs. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine vehicle maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability. Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, luggage handling, and addressing inquiries professionally. Process cash transactions accurately while maintaining proper documentation of fares. Navigate local driving routes effectively, including night driving shifts, to meet passenger demands across different times of day. Follow all safety protocols related to commercial driving, including compliance with licensing requirements and operational standards. Qualifications Valid taxi driver's license or appropriate commercial driving credentials recognized by local authorities. Proven experience in taxi driving or similar roles such as delivery driver, bus driver, or paratransit operator. Strong knowledge of GPS navigation tools and local routes within the city. Experience with vehicle maintenance routines and ensuring vehicle cleanliness standards are met regularly. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record and adherence to traffic regulations. Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service in fast-paced environments. Ability to operate various types of vehicles including limousines, vans, or other commercial vehicles as needed.
