Passenger Van Driver

Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Driver to join our Amish transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers via various vehicle types, including passenger vans, shuttle buses, and limousine services. Your primary goal is to ensure a comfortable, timely, and secure journey for all clients while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Whether driving local routes or providing specialized medical transportation, your expertise will help us deliver exceptional service every day. Responsibilities Safely operate passenger vehicles such as vans, shuttles, driver vehicles in accordance with all traffic laws. Navigate using GPS systems to ensure efficient route planning and timely arrivals Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing excellent customer service and support as needed Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance with state transportation regulations Adhere strictly to traffic regulations, safety protocols, and company standards during all driving activities Communicate effectively with clients regarding schedules, routes, and any delays or issues that may arise Handle heavy lifting when necessary for luggage or equipment loading/unloading while maintaining proper manual handling techniques Experience Proven experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, chauffeur, or shuttle driver with a strong focus on passenger safety and customer service Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and local driving routes within urban or suburban areas Experience operating passenger vans, medical transportation vehicles, or paratransit services preferred Knowledge of state transportation regulations and licensing requirements for commercial passenger vehicles Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in compliance with manual handling standards Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members Prior experience in vehicle maintenance or basic troubleshooting is a plus Experience Driving with trailers. 1099

$600.00 per week
