Job Description

Job title: Part Time Driver | Medical Transport |
Daytime Hours Pay:
$18 per hour, W2 Job type: Part time, 15 to 25 hours per week to start, with more hours coming as we grow
Schedule:
Weekday daytime hours, mostly morning and early afternoon runs. No nights. Weekend runs are optional and never required. About the job AccessCare Medical Transport is a growing medical transportation company serving the Columbus area. We take seniors and people with disabilities to dialysis, doctor visits, therapy, and back home again, safely and with dignity. Many of our passengers ride with us every week. You will know their names and they will know yours. We just added our fourth van and we are growing fast, so there is real room here for someone who wants more hours down the road. What you will do You drive our vehicles. We cover fuel, maintenance, and insurance. You help passengers from their door to the vehicle and from the vehicle to their destination door. Some passengers use wheelchairs. We train you on safe securement and you will never be asked to do anything you have not been trained on. What we provide $18 per hour on a W2 with taxes handled properly. Paid training, including CPR and First Aid certification if you do not already have it. A consistent schedule you can plan your life around. A company where the owner answers the phone. Who does well here Retirees and semi retired folks who want meaningful part time work. Current or former school bus drivers, STNAs, home health aides, EMTs, and family caregivers. Anyone patient, dependable, and genuinely kind to older adults. Requirements Age 25 or older with a valid Ohio driver's license. Clean driving record, we review a 10 year motor vehicle report. Able to pass a criminal background check, drug screening, physical, and TB test. Able to assist passengers and secure wheelchairs after training. A smartphone for navigation.
