The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism in all interactions with clients and colleagues. Duties Operate various types of vehicles, including buses, vans, and limousines, to transport passengers efficiently and safely. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a safe driving record. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking, as well as addressing any inquiries or concerns during transit. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle interior and exterior. Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage, passenger counts, and any incidents that may occur during transport. Collaborate with dispatchers to receive instructions and updates regarding routes and schedules. Assist with paratransit services as needed, ensuring the comfort and safety of passengers with special needs. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (f endorsement ) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated. Proven experience in bus driving, van driving, or school bus driving preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people. Familiarity with paratransit and shuttle driving operations is a plus. Ability to maintain a clean driving record and pass background checks as required by company policies. Excellent time management skills with a focus on punctuality. Physical ability to assist passengers as needed, including lifting or helping those with mobility challenges.
