Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting Kids K-5th grade, to various destinations while ensuring a high level of customer service. This role requires excellent driving skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to communicate effectively with Elementary students and team members. Duties Safely operate a van or shuttle vehicle to transport students from school in the Redmond area to designated center location. Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle, performing routine inspections and necessary maintenance. Communicate clearly with passengers regarding pick-up and drop-off times, routes, and any changes in schedule. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their safety at all times. Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving, promoting a safe environment for all passengers. Document daily activities, including mileage, passenger counts, and any incidents that may occur during transport. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns promptly. Experience Previous experience in commercial driving or school bus driving is preferred. Familiarity with shuttle driving, paratransit services, or limousine operations is advantageous. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and team members. Ability to maintain composure in various situations while ensuring passenger safety and comfort. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
