The ideal candidate enjoys working around children, has a clean and safe driving record, and understands the importance of being punctual, patient, attentive, and professional at all times. Safely operate passenger vans, shuttle buses, or similar vehicles to transport children along designated local routes. Safely transport children to and from the daycare, schools, homes, and approved activities. Ensure the secure loading and unloading of children, assisting with seat belts and car seats as needed. Follow all traffic laws, state transportation regulations, and company policies during daily routes. Maintain clear communication with parents, caregivers, and daycare staff regarding pick-up and drop-off schedules or any delays. Keep accurate logs of trips, mileage and maintenance needs. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean or acceptable driving record. Ability to pass required background checks and driving record checks. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning. Ability to assist loading or unloading children's belongings or equipment. Strong knowledge of local driving routes and traffic regulations to ensure timely arrivals. Excellent communication skills for parents interaction and coordination with daycare staff.
