Job Description

Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Travel Discover New England charm in Shelton, CT—a location that blends the vibrancy of small-town living with the close proximity of coastal adventures and breathtaking natural beauty. As a travel Cath Lab Technologist here, you'll gain professional enrichment through engagement with advanced cardiovascular and neurointerventional procedures, collaborate with expert teams, and add impressive depth to your expertise, all while experiencing the best the region has to offer during your downtime.
Schedule/Hours:
Three 12-hour shifts Start times between 6:00 am and 8:00 pm Participation in weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation as needed
Role Overview:
Engage in dynamic, high-acuity procedures across the EP, cardiac catheterization, neurointerventional, and structural heart labs. This position allows you to develop your clinical skills in a setting that thrives on innovation, collaborative practice, and professional excellence. Expect exposure to emerging techniques and best practices, actively expanding your capability and resume.
Qualifications:
State of CT Radiographer license and/or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification through CCI Minimum 3+ years' experience in Cardiac Cath Lab/EP Lab Advanced scrubbing experience for EP (ablations, device implants), cardiac catheterization (PCI, atherectomy), and support of circulatory assist devices (Impella, IABP) Neurointerventional and peripheral vascular diagnosis and procedures exposure Proficient with vascular access, sheath management, and closure devices BLS and ACLS certifications required
Preferred:
Siemens familiarity (for radiologic techs), RCIS certification, TAVR, MitraClip, PFO/ASD closure, Watchman, and advanced cardiovascular imaging (ICE, IVUS, OCT, 3D mapping)
Key Responsibilities:
Support and scrub a wide range of high-acuity cardiovascular, neurointerventional, and structural heart procedures Assist with emergent cases in a fast-paced, collaborative team setting Employ advanced imaging and diagnostic technologies to support patient care
