Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - Cath Lab Job Type Travel Step into a dynamic clinical setting as a Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab, where your expertise will support crucial cardiovascular procedures and patient care. Qualifications and Experience:
Active, unencumbered RN license Minimum of one year of experience working in a Cath Lab setting Current BLS and ACLS certification required Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and monitoring Proficient in assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and assess patients for interventional cardiac procedures Monitor patient response and conditions throughout procedures Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and other interventions Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique and infection control standards Document patient assessments, care provided, and procedural details accurately in electronic medical records Educate patients and families on pre- and post-procedure care Respond promptly to emergencies, utilizing critical thinking and decisive action This role provides an excellent opportunity for those looking to expand their Cath Lab expertise in a contract position while working closely with experienced clinicians and support staff.
