Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - Cath Lab Job Type Travel Discover Gastonia, North Carolina—an inviting destination in the heart of the Southeast offering a blend of southern charm, vibrant community life, and easy access to scenic parks and metropolitan excursions. Experience meaningful professional advancement while working alongside a dedicated team in a Cardiac Cath Lab, where you'll engage with advanced technologies and diverse procedures. Schedule/Hours:
40 hours per week; 10-hour day shifts: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Rotating call: 8 weekdays and 2 weekends in a 6-week period (occasional additional) Weekend shifts: 2 per 6-week period Flexible float requirement, including possible coverage at neighboring locations Up to 7 days off allowed in a 13-week assignment Required Qualifications & Skills Valid RN license Scrub, monitoring, and EKG proficiency Minimum 3-4 recent scrub procedures experience; ability to circulate
Cardiac Cath Lab:
Experience with balloon angioplasty, stent placement, thrombectomy, filter placement, pacemaker/defib device placements, left/right heart catheterizations
Interventional Radiology:
Proficient with stent/angioplasty placements (peripheral, upper, and lower extremity), vascular studies, hemodynamic monitoring
Electrophysiology:
Cardioversion, pacemaker insertions
Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, RCIS
