Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-ICU Job Type Travel Step into a dynamic Registered Nurse opportunity in a high-acuity Intensive Care Unit setting. This contract role calls for skilled RNs ready to deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Your clinical expertise will help drive positive outcomes for critically ill patients, working alongside a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Valid and unrestricted RN license Minimum of one year of recent ICU experience required Certification in BLS and ACLS (additional critical care certifications a plus) Strong assessment, monitoring, and documentation skills Proficiency in using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems Effective communication and the ability to thrive in high-pressure situations
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time contract hours; specific shifts may vary
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care to adult ICU patients Perform continuous assessments, monitor vital signs, and respond swiftly to changes in patient status Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other team members in developing individualized care plans Administer medications, IV infusions, and advanced therapies per established protocols Ensure meticulous documentation of interventions, responses, and progress Serve as a resource for patients' families, providing education and emotional support
