Category Nursing - RN-ICU Job Type Travel Experience the captivating beauty of northern New Mexico in Los Alamos—a destination recognized for its striking landscapes, unique culture, and endless recreational opportunities. Nestled in a vibrant community renowned for science, outdoor adventure, and the arts, you'll have the chance to explore local trails, visit historical sites, and savor local cuisine—all while advancing your nursing expertise on a travel assignment. Serving as a key provider in the region, this facility is a 47-bed acute care center featuring over 300 dedicated healthcare professionals. Here, you will work alongside accomplished clinicians, gaining exposure to diverse care delivery models, innovative approaches to patient safety, and varying leadership styles. This environment propels your professional development and bolsters your credentials, making it an exceptional addition to your resume.
Schedule/Hours:
Orientation every Monday 36 or 48 hours per week (schedule may vary per need)
Qualifications:
Active RN license Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience Required certifications at time of submission (BLS, ACLS, and others as specified) Must be located 60+ miles from Los Alamos to qualify as travel staff Background check and fingerprinting completion per New Mexico state law
Responsibilities:
Deliver critical care services to diverse adult patient populations in the ICU Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Participate in ongoing patient monitoring, assessments, documentation, and care planning Adapt to facility-specific protocols and leadership direction
