Schedule/Hours:
Weekend Days:
Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM No on-call required (opportunity to pick up if desired)
Qualifications:
ARRT (R) certification, BLS, and active VA Radiology License required 1+ year of experience in CT imaging; 2 years of radiology experience preferred Experience with GE (Revolution Ascend 64slice) and Philips scanners required EPIC and PACS proficiency preferred Skills in POC Creatinine (iStat), IV start competency, and ability to work independently Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Broad technical knowledge and proven problem-solving skills
Responsibilities:
Perform CT and general radiographic exams under physician supervision, ensuring adherence to all radiation safety protocols Accurately gather and analyze data for multi-step procedures across inpatient, outpatient, and ED settings (40-45 cases per shift) Independently manage equipment, perform quality control, and maintain thorough documentation Educate and compassionately support patients and families about procedures Collaborate with all department staff, demonstrating excellence and respect in patient care Assist with the training of students and new staff Uphold organizational core values and participate in ongoing process improvement
