Job Description
Category Imaging - CT Job Type Travel Monroe, NC, offers the perfect blend of Southern charm, easy access to vibrant nearby cities, and a warm inviting atmosphere to grow your healthcare expertise. Working as a traveling CT Technologist here provides a rewarding opportunity to collaborate with an experienced team and encounter a diverse patient population—all while exploring North Carolina's unique history, scenic parks, and welcoming downtown during your downtime. This assignment allows valuable professional growth, as you'll be immersed in a department renowned for advanced imaging, comprehensive care, and certified excellence in stroke management. You'll expand your skillset with exposure to a wide range of studies, cutting-edge equipment, and both inpatient and outpatient CT procedures. Working alongside seasoned professionals will broaden your understanding of various leadership styles, while adding critical experience to your resume.
Schedule/Hours:
2 days to 1 week departmental orientation (as needed, weekdays) Flexible schedule options availableDesired Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' CT experience (first-time travelers are encouraged to apply) ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT BLS certification required Able to start peripheral IVs and perform venous/arterial phase and multi-phase scanning Experienced in stroke imaging, colorectal studies, and CT-guided invasive procedures Familiarity with TeraRecon is a plusKey Responsibilities:
Perform CT imaging for ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient settings Collaborate for CT-guided procedures and cases requiring anesthesia Participate in day-shift cardiac CT imaging (7 days per week) Accurately document scans and workflows using Epic EMR and Philips iSite PACS Support a high-volume department with strong patient-centered careBenefits & Perks:
