Schedule/Hours:
Flexibility to alternate shifts, weekends, holidays, and take call as assigned May require overtime to ensure high-quality patient care
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited radiography program (education verification required) 2 years of CT experience in a clinical setting ARRT Radiography registration required ARRT Computed Tomography registration required
IEMA-DNS
radiography accreditation required Valid CPR or BLS certification
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic CT procedures and, when needed, radiographic, fluoroscopic, surgical, and portable exams Prepare patients for procedures, providing clear instructions to encourage comfort and cooperation Operate imaging equipment and select appropriate devices for optimal image capture Document patient clinical histories and collaborate closely with radiologists Prepare and administer contrast media, maintaining IV access as needed Ensure adherence to aseptic technique, universal protocol, and patient safety guidelines Provide practical training for students and less-experienced technologists Manage inventory and contribute to supply decisions in your assigned area
