Job Overview The Design Services Professional I plays a key role in guiding homeowners through the pre-construction phase by organizing and leading personalized selection appointments, ensuring an exceptional customer experience aligned with Eldon's standards. This position supports the Design Services Manager in maintaining the Design Center, completing home selections on schedule, and accurately processing pricing requests and change orders. The role also includes hosting Design Center previews, contributing to design materials, collaborating with internal teams, and assisting with special projects to deliver outstanding service and seamless communication throughout the design process. Duties Organize and conduct selection appointments with homeowners within the established timeline during the pre-construction phase. Create a warm and unforgettable experience for every customer. "Eldon's Exceptional Experience". Regularly schedule and lead Design Center previews. Communicate proactively with Design Services Manager, Sales and other team members to ensure consistent messaging across all customer interactions. Complete selections for model homes, spec homes, and custom builds within the agreed-upon timeframe. Accurately document and submit pricing requests and change orders for approval through required software. Support Design Services Manager in maintaining the Design Center. Collaborate closely with the Design Services manager, Sales and Purchasing teams to provide outstanding customer service. Assist with development and maintaining design studio booklets. Assist with special projects and maintain spreadsheets as needed. Support & assist Design Services Manager as needed. Perform additional tasks as assigned. Requirements Bachelor's or associate degree in interior design or related field. Proficient in reading and understanding detailed construction blueprints, specifications, and basic development drawings. Familiarity with basic technology, including Microsoft 365. Qualifications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal abilities Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively Creative problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail Capability to thrive in a team environment, fostering a positive atmosphere while collaborating with other departments for accuracy and efficiency Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities while meeting deadlines

Pay:

$23.00 - $27.00 per hour
