Work Schedule:
Mostly day shift 8-hour shifts, generally 6:30 AM-3:00 PM, department need dependent On-call rotation: 10-12 days/month
Key Qualifications:
Active RN license, unrestricted Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in CVOR nursing Proficiency in HEART case procedures
BLS & ACLS
certifications (current) Calm under pressure, excellent critical thinking skills Team-oriented, adaptable to fast-paced surgical settings
Core Responsibilities:
Coordinate care for cardiovascular OR patients, ensuring safety and optimal outcomes before, during, and after procedures Scrub and circulate on advanced HEART surgeries and related cases Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and support staff Maintain surgical suite preparation, supply inventory, and equipment readiness Contribute to a culture of best practices, safety, and quality improvement
