Jul 1, 2026 Job Description The West Fork Community School District is seeking a highly motivated and student-centered professional to serve as a Wellness Center Director and High School Athletic Director. This dual-role position is responsible for providing leadership, organization, and oversight of the district's athletic programs and wellness/fitness facilities while also serving students through instruction aligned with a Physical Education endorsement. Primary ResponsibilitiesAthletic Director Duties:
Provide leadership and supervision of all high school athletic programs Ensure compliance with all Iowa High School Athletic Association and Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union rules and regulations Hire, supervise, and evaluate coaching staff Develop and manage athletic schedules, transportation, and event coordination Oversee athletic budgets, equipment, and facilities Promote sportsmanship, student participation, and positive community engagement Coordinate communication with students, parents, staff, and community membersWellness Center Director Duties:
Oversee daily operations of the district's wellness/fitness center Develop and implement wellness programming for students and community members Ensure safe, effective, and appropriate use of equipment and facilities Coordinate scheduling and supervision of the wellness center Promote a culture of health, fitness, and lifelong wellnessTeaching Responsibilities:
