Job Description
Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years Home Health RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. As a travel RN specializing in Home Health, you'll enhance your nursing expertise by managing a variety of complex patient cases, including chronic diseases, wound care, IV management, and more. Serving a broad region, you'll enjoy professional growth through exposure to diverse community health practices and valuable insights from a range of departmental leaders and peers. Expand your clinical skills and resume while building connections with patients and healthcare professionals across Albemarle, Badin, Harrisburg, Mt Gilead, Norwood, Troy, and neighboring towns.
Schedule/Hours:
Flexible weekday scheduling; typically 6 patient visits per day No weekend rotations required unless desired Call participation optional; holiday work expectation is 75% 13-week scheduling cyclesRequirements:
Valid RN license with a minimum of 1 year of recent Home Health experience Strong proficiency with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) EMR (required) Additional skills in IV therapy, pleurx, wound vac, extensive wound care, OASIS documentation, and case management (up to 25-30 cases simultaneously) Current BLS certification Active driver's license and insurance (daily travel: 60-80 miles; reimbursed weekly) High organizational ability for schedule planning and documentationRole Responsibilities:
Complete and document 6 home visits per day (routine, discharge, reassessment) Provide comprehensive patient assessments, education, and disease management Coordinate patient care episodes and communicate with interdisciplinary teams Schedule patient visits directly with families Utilize facility-provided phone and technology (Samsung Note 9, EPIC Rover-view, Focura uploads)Perks & Benefits:
