At this 457-licensed bed facility with Level 3 Trauma capabilities and centers of excellence in stroke, bariatrics, and chest pain care, you'll work alongside a collaborative team renowned for dedication and support. The ICU unit, with a census of 40 and a robust patient mix—ventilated patients, post-thrombectomy care, complex overdoses, and multifaceted critical care cases—promises a rich clinical variety. EPIC, Arctic Sun, Hemosphere, and more), allowing you to elevate your skillset and resume. Flexibility is key, as floating within the region to various facilities may be required, giving you a broader view of regional healthcare practices and teamwork-driven cultures.
Schedule/Hours:
Weekend rotation every other weekend No on-call obligations 75% holiday coverage required Up to 6 days approved time off (excluding holidays; contract extended if needed) No first-time travelers accepted
Qualifications:
Active RN license, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Minimum 2 years ICU experience Proficient with critical care drips, invasive line management (ART/CVP), ventilation, cardiac rhythm interpretation, blood products, and wound care Comfortable floating within scope of practice to multiple regional facilities
Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality ICU nursing to diverse, acutely ill patient populations (ratios of 1:1-3) Collaborate with a multidisciplinary support team (CNA, 24/7 charge nurse, hospitalist, RT, intensivist) Oversee tasks including phlebotomy, patient monitoring, and equipment operation
