Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

ARRT certification (VIR Certified highly preferred) Active or eligibility for NYS radiologic technologist license BLS certification through American Heart Association Minimum two years' experience in Interventional Radiology Demonstrated interpersonal skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and instruct patients for examinations; assist Radiologist during procedures Consistently produce high-quality, diagnostic radiologic images through proper selection of exposure and positioning Operate all imaging equipment proficiently, reporting issues promptly Observe medication security standards and safeguard patient confidentiality Utilize Hospital Information System (HIS), Radiology Information System (RIS), and PACS effectively Participate in departmental and facility performance improvement initiatives Provide timely assistance with room turnover and support colleagues when procedural volume allows Respond knowledgeably to technical inquiries from clinical staff
