Job Description

Category Imaging - IR Tech Job Type Travel Experience picturesque California in Lamont, where vibrant agricultural landscapes meet the charm of small-town living. This sought-after travel IR Tech assignment places you near renowned attractions, from breathtaking state parks to scenic trails, allowing you to enrich your downtime with unforgettable adventures. Working with a varied patient mix, including dialysis, IVC filter placements, and support for CT biopsies, ensures ongoing professional challenge and resume enhancement.
Schedule/Hours:
7:30 am - 4:00 pm, with rotational call after hours Weekend on-call requirement: Friday 4 pm - Monday 7:30 am Rotational holiday coverage
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of IR Tech experience in an acute care setting Active BLS certification required ARRT (RT)(R) credential required; (VI) preferred Proficient using CERnER or
RADNET EMR
systems a plus Adaptability to support both adult and inmate population (no pediatrics)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform and assist with a variety of interventional radiology procedures Operate state-of-the-art equipment (GE, MedRad, Angiojet) Collaborate with a cohesive IR team, including IR RNs and Radiology Assistants Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse patient population Participate in rotational call and cross-campus support as assigned
