Job Description

Key Details & Schedule:
5 eight-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM No self-scheduling; flexibility required for potential holiday coverage Typically 2-3 days of departmental orientation Scrubs permitted; specific color guidelines will be shared after hire
Preferred Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license and active BLS certification At least 1 year of acute inpatient or acute rehab experience (first-time travelers welcome) Proficiency in
EPIC EMR
preferred Strong skills in working with orthopedic (total joints), stroke, neurological, ICU, and general medical patient populations
Role Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive OT services to acute inpatient and swing bed patients (8-10 per day) Adapt care to a range of diagnoses including ortho, neuro, ICU cases, and occasional brain injuries (excluding TBI) Cover primary facility with the flexibility to float to associated centers as needed Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and report to the onsite OT manager
