As a travel Respiratory Therapist, you'll have the opportunity to grow professionally in diverse hospital settings while exploring a welcoming area with rich history, local eateries, and inviting parks—perfect for meaningful downtime adventures. Expand your resume through exposure to high-acuity patient populations, state-of-the-art technology, and advanced therapies not commonly encountered at every facility. Schedule/Hours 12-hour shifts: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM 4 weekend shifts required per month No on-call requirements Holiday coverage as needed; schedules set monthly Required Qualifications Active RRT; will consider experienced CRTs 1 year of experience (first-time travelers accepted with adult critical care background) BLS and ACLS certification Adult critical care experience; willingness to gain pediatric exposure Proficiency in: oxygen, aerosol/MDI treatments, ventilator management, trach care, CPT, suctioning, PEP therapy, ABG/ABLS Adaptability to support both adult and rehab units as needed Core Responsibilities Manage ventilators and provide advanced respiratory care for diverse diagnosis including COPD, heart failure, transplant, cystic fibrosis, LVAD, neuro, and more Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes for patients with complex needs Utilize advanced equipment (V60 BiPAP, PB 980, Hamilton MR-1, Airvo/High flow, Nitric, Veletri, and others) Float to nearby rehab units as required Document care accurately within Cerner EMR Perks & Benefits Tax-advantaged travel stipends and travel assistance for an easy transition Premium compensation package Comprehensive healthcare, 401(k) options, and job security Free parking in a badge-access lot Gain skill diversity and experience in an acclaimed transplant and critical care center If you're seeking a professionally rewarding role that lets you explore new horizons both inside and outside the hospital, apply today to start your next career adventure!
