This travel opportunity offers you the chance to broaden your occupational therapy expertise in a dynamic hospital environment, working alongside dedicated professionals while expanding your clinical repertoire. The assignment calls for an occupational therapist to serve in acute inpatient and swing bed settings, treating a daily caseload of 8 to 10 patients with a variety of orthopedic, neurological, medical, and general ICU diagnoses. This hands-on experience will expose you to new workplace practices, documentation systems such as EPIC, and leadership approaches—invaluable for building your resume and boosting your adaptability. When census is low, enjoy the bonus experience of floating to a nearby partner facility, further enriching your skillset.
Schedule:
Five 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pmOrientation:
2-3 days to immerse you in department routines Occasional holiday coverage requiredPreferred Qualifications:
One year of licensed OT experience in an acute inpatient or rehab setting BLS certification Comfort with diverse patient caseloads, including ortho, neuro, general medical, and ICU Experience withEPIC EMR
