Skills & Experience Sought:
Current California licensure/certification as a physical therapist (or RN with MS Oncology experience if cross-referencing). Minimum of 3 years' experience in physical therapy preferred. Strong knowledge of physical therapy modalities, anatomy, physiology, and disease processes. Current BCLS certification. Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to assess patients across age groups and work within diverse teams. Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office.
Core Responsibilities:
Direct and coordinate high-quality physical therapy services as prescribed. Supervise departmental operations, supporting regulatory compliance and budget management. Maintain meticulous records and accurate charge entry. Liaise among administration, patients, physicians, and healthcare providers. Train and mentor staff, foster performance improvement, and promote best practices. Address patient needs respectfully, including cultural, spiritual, and psychosocial considerations.
