Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Operating Room Job Type Travel Step into a vital nursing role where your clinical expertise will make a direct impact in the operating room. As a Registered Nurse with specialized experience in surgical settings, you'll work closely with skilled surgeons, anesthesiologists, and a dynamic perioperative team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care during a variety of surgical procedures.
Key Qualifications:
Current and unencumbered RN license Proven background in Operating Room (OR) nursing BLS and ACLS certifications required Ability to handle rapidly changing situations and prioritize patient safety Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to patient advocacy Familiarity with sterile techniques and infection control standards
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare operating rooms for surgery, ensuring all necessary instruments and equipment are sterile and functioning Assist the surgical team during procedures, acting as a scrub or circulating nurse as needed Monitor patient status throughout the surgery, documenting observations and changes Collaborate with surgical staff to provide seamless, high-quality perioperative care Uphold strict infection control and patient safety protocols Provide post-operative support and education for patients and their families This contract opportunity offers you the chance to further develop your OR nursing skills within a supportive environment.
